“Montgomery has 23 shows. They are in a lot of different countries such as Poland, China, and we’re hoping that the partnership will also bring exhibitors from Europe.” The World Trade Center Miami’s membership exceeds two million and it is part of a network of 285 sister World Trade Centers in 84 countries.

World Trade Center (WTC)- Miami, the show’s principle organizer for nine years has joined with Montgomery International, which offers more than a century of exhibition experience. Coupled with the IFE name –touted and recognized as a global food and beverage exhibition brand, the partnership formed the Americas Trade and Exhibition Company (ATEC, LLC)to present IFE Americas - 9th Americas Food and Beverage Show.

Jelena Meisel, show director, IFE Americas, says “Our new partner has experience operating different food shows around the world. They are real experts in running trade shows. We’re going to have attendees and exhibitors from Europe and Asia including Italy, Poland, Africa, Thailand, Australia, South Korea, Turkey, and Malaysia. There will be representation from the Western Hemisphere countries, and NASDA (the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture) will have a U.S. pavilion.”

De Witt Ashby, director, trade shows, NASDA, comments, “The Montgomery alliance gives WTC Miami and NASDA a partner who is a leading player in the universe of trade show organizers.” According to Ashby, “The new partnership is really a seal of approval for the show’s hemispheric concept”.

This year’s NASDA pavilion will be slightly larger and will feature more exhibitors interested in expanding their reach into Caribbean and Latin

American markets.
